 This module should enable you to:
1.  describe at least one way in which culture can affect:
           communication
           food preferences
           relationships and roles
           holidays observed
           attitudes toward health and illness
2. describe the way in which a long-term care facility could demonstrate unique sensitivity to:
           Black Americans
           Hispanic Americans
           Jewish Americans
           Asian Americans
           Native Americans
3. list at least four ways to demonstrate an appreciation of cultural differences

In order to fulfill requirements to obtain the contact hour the learner must read the entire module, take and pass the test with a score of at least 70%, and submit the Continuing Education Registration and Evaluation Form on the last page of this module. Contact hours for this program will be offered through 2013.
